Honoring All Breast Cancer Survivors, our 2015 Survivor of the Year, 2015 Volunteer of the Year and 2015 Support Angel of the Year
It’s our Biggest Mission Day of the Year!
Who: Join Event Co-Chairs, Elizabeth Williams and Torrie Hebert, our guests including our Breast Cancer Survivors, Komen New Orleans Board Members, Volunteers, Grantees and the Media. Musical guest will be the Songbird of New Orleans, Robin Barnes and WDSU’s Camille Whitworth will serve as our Master of Ceremonies.
What: A New Orleans Style Jazz Luncheon honoring Breast Cancer Survivors and Komen New Orleans’ biggest mission day of the year – when our investment in local community outreach programs is announced. SGK New Orleans will award $500,000.00 to local community grantees to help uninsured and underinsured women of New Orleans receive access to critical breast cancer education, screening and treatment services.
When: Thursday, April 30th 2015 ~ 11:30am
Where: Audubon Tea Room, 6500 Magazine Street, New Orleans. This special New Orleans Style Jazz Luncheon will feature door prizes, a silent auction and Survivor gifts to honor our breast cancer survivors.

• The Volunteer of the Year is an individual who has supported the Komen organization throughout the year.
• The Support Angel Award is for the person who provided support and encouragement during your or a friend’s fight for life.
• Any breast cancer survivor is eligible for Survivor of the Year. Please let us know your story to encourage others.
